Our Family is Growing!!

The last week or so Joel and I have been considering getting a dog. We didn't expect to get an answer this fast, but we did. Meet Scooter. Some good friends of ours called us yesterday to ask us if we would adopt one of their dogs which they didn't think they could keep, because they are going to be moving. We talked about it and quickly accepted. So a few hours ago, we went and picked up our new addition. Scooter will be two years old in December. He has lots of energy and is so fun. He is purebred Yorkshire Terrier and so cute. We think he is just perfect for us, because of his small size and energy. Needless to say, we are so excited.

Yes he is housebroken. He rings a bell when he has to go out. Its very cute and helpful. We both like small dogs and it was much easier to convince the landlord to let us have Scooter.

so did you have to buy one of those trendy purses to jam it in and carry it around like paris hilton or does the bag come with the dog?

I didn't get a bag. But they did give us all his little clothes. Which include a London Fog trenchcoat. :) And he is not Yappy. He barely makes any noise.

hey! I haven't dropped off the face of the universe... both times you called I was trying to pay for purchases at thrift stores while holding Charleigh and trying to find my phone at the bottom of my purse, which happens to be loaded with an open package of smashed crackers, which basically results in handfulls of cracker crumbs but no phone while I scrape the bottom of the bag which is large enough to hold everything I own apparently, including a condom I pulled out by mistake while trying to locate an insurance card. Nice huh?

Tammi, you're right I do love Scooter and if I had him I WOULD have a bag to carry him around with me everywhere I went. You're just jealous cause they don't make a backpack big enough for those three boys of yours. ;)
