We are home (kinda)

It has been a crazy few weeks, but Joel and I are home from Poland. We had an amazing trip and God did some amazing things. I'd love to tell you all about it, but there is no time. We are headed out on vacation tommorrow, so it will be awhile until I post again. Then I'll update you on everything.

Please Pray!

We are two weeks away from our trip to Poland and we are still missing 6 passports. Tommorrow we can call the passport administration and try to get info. If that doesn't work we will have to try taking them to the passport administator in Chicago. If that doesn't work, those six won't be able to go. So we are asking everyone to pray for the next few days or weeks that God will get those passports here.

Red Lobster

Joel and I decided to celebrate our anniversary yesterday, since it was his day off. So we did some fun stuff and just relaxed most of the day, but for dinner we decided to go to Red Lobster. Joel's mom had sent us a gift card. The funny part is that my husband despises seafood. Joel literally freaks out. On our honeymoon, he took me out for seafood, but that was definately just for me. So we sit down and Joel orders his steak (of course) but I decided to get crab legs (which I've never had in front of him). Before we even got our food, Joel noticed a girl at the next table eating crab legs and I saw the concern on his face. When our food came, Joel learned all about how to eat crab, but I wish I had a picture of the faces he was making. He says his issue is the texture when he eats, but it has escalated to more a phobia of being in the same room as seafood. During dinner, I was teasing him and told him that he needed to conquer his fear, "you don't have to like it, just be able to be around it." So he bravely, decided to try a bite. He swallowed it down, but could only stay composed for about a minute, before the freak out came racing back. Needless to say we didn't even discussing trying the shrimp.

Cedar Point

Tuesday, Joel and I went to Cedar Point with the senior highers from church. We had a great time, but I was so exhausted after. I only got about 3 hours of sleep the night before and then we were gone from 6:00am to 2:30am. It was a ton of fun and I got to spend time with some teens that I don't see all that often. I spent the day introducing some teens to rollercoasters. I hung with the non-riders, which if you know me its funny that I was the one pushing to go on the bigger rides. By the end of the day though they all had rode a bunch of rides and proudly said they were no longer the non-riders.
Joel and I bought season passes yesterday, because we have several trips to Cedar Point and MI Adventure planned, so I know this summer we are going to have alot of fun.

Two Years!

Today is our anniversary. We aren't going to really celebrate till later this week because of church stuff, but I can't help but think about our wedding. We had such a great day. It was a ton of fun. The last two years have gone so fast, I can hardly believe it. Here is to many more to come.
I love you Joel! I don't know where I'd be without you in my life.

Less than a month

It's less than a month until we leave for Poland. I can hardly believe it. There is still alot to do, but things are definately coming together. We are still waiting on a bunch of the passports to come in, but we do have all our support which is a huge blessing. This is a picture of the team that we are taking. They are all great and it is going to be an awesome team.
